Crime Has Reduced In Ashaiman Due to My Skill Training-MP

The Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, Ernest Henry Norgbey continue to support the unemployed youth within his constituency.
The MP who is serving a second term promised to empower the youth within his constituency to enable them gain skills to help them earn a living.
Mr Norgbey, at a graduation ceremony in Ashaiman to graduate some graduands who have undergone several months of skill training in hair dressing and fashion designing noted that the skill training agenda being undertaken by his office sort to bridge the wide unemployment gap within the constituency which is largely due to poor policy formulation by the NPP government.
“ As a legislator, my duty is to formulate laws for my people, but it is imperative on me to ensure my constituents are very much comfortable and can fend for themselves and their dependents  hence the drive to  offer free skill training for the youth who form the larger population in Ashaiman.”
He said, crime related issues have relatively  reduced in Ashaiman because of the skill training being offered the youth.
“Some time back, crime was the order of the day in Ashaiman but that story has changed because of the intervention being made with the introduction of this skill training project I have embarked upon.”
“As the youth empowerment continues unabated, I engaged the youth in dress making and donated  some industrial sewing machines to them. This is to enhance their work and also improve on their skills.” He added
He said “ My target in this endeavour, is to empower over 2000 youths in this enterprise. So far over 300 have graduated from various training centres and over 100 plus are currently undergoing their training.”
